So you’ve heard of fibroblast. Maybe you even know somebody who got it done. But you still have some questions about what exactly fibroblast is and how it works. And if you’re like most people, you’re also wondering “is it worth it?” I’ll answer this and many other common questions in this article.
Fibroblast is a innovative skin tightening procedure which utilizes a tiny electrical arch to trigger a contraction and tightening of the skin and skin cells. This tiny electrical arch essentially creates a microscopic burn on the surface of the skin. These are the tiny dots you may have seen in photos of the procedure.
This micro trauma not only triggers an instant tightening of the skin but also signals the body to produce and send collagen to the treated areas to begin the healing process. This healing process also encourages the regeneration of cells in the treated areas. The subsequent result is comparable to more invasive, risky and expensive skin tightening procedures.
But is it safe? Yes, Fibroblast is considered by many to be one of the safest aesthetic skin tightening procedures. Fibroblast does not involve any cutting or needles. In fact, the tip of the Fibroblast plasma pen never even makes contact with your skin. And unlike procedures such as botox injections, with Fibroblast there are absolutely zero concerns about having a substance like Botulinum Toxin A injected into your body. A quick Google search will tell you the dangers and potential side effects associated with Botulinum Toxin A injections.
Another thing to note regarding Fibroblast vs. Botox is the length of time your results last. Most report that, on average, the effects of Botox last anywhere from three to six months. With Fibroblast, your results can last anywhere from three to five years; possibly even longer. This is because Fibroblast is not a quick fix injection that starts fading away within weeks. Rather with Fibroblast you are physically altering the surface of your skin. With Fibroblast skin tightening, your results will last as long as you take care of your skin and, of course, fight off the natural aging process.
Many of my clients ask, “what can do to maximize and prolong my Fibroblast results.” My answer is simple: Take care of your skin the way you would if you could turn back time. Avoid excessive exposure to the sun. Drink 100 oz. of water a day. Always use moisturizer. Always use sunscreen. Take a collagen supplement every day. Take vitamin E every day. These are just a few of the many things we can do to take care of our skin. But if you want to maximize your Fibroblast results and you want those results to last, these are the things you need to do.
The best part about Fibroblast plasma skin tightening is that it uses your body’s natural healing process to give you a natural looking result. We’ve all seen the people who’ve had plastic surgery that literally end up looking like a completely different person. They look almost fake, like plastic, and do not look natural whatsoever. Most of my clients don’t want to look like that. They simply want to look like they did 5-10 years ago. And with Fibroblast, that’s exactly what I give them.
